B Boys

When I was 8 the friends I hung out with were 12 (they lived right across the street and we'd play everyday.  Play.  Hide and seek and other games).  My next door neighbor, a girl (Tomboy) was also my friend and all of us would play.  Everyday.  If one of us was not outside we'd go knock on each others' doors and asked if they he or she could come out play.  What does this have to do with Hip Hop?  Those friends literally jammed the first CD's I had ever listened to in my ear (NWA, Beastie Boys, and Dr. Dre.  The Tomboy introduced me to Blink but that's another story for another blog).  Since then, I've been hooked between Hip Hop and rock.  Now, I feel it's my turn to turn (turn to turn haha) you on to Hip Hop.  Hip Hop is great; it's not all about guns and bitches.  It's about playing with words and being creative.  Get your headphones jam them into your computer, then jam them into your ears.
