Who is the Best MC?

If Hip hop heads around the world armed themselves to debate who the best MC is of all time it would be probable to think that the whole world would cease to exist. The truth is all MC's are appreciated no two can be compared in the same manor (other than all the "LiL's" and the "Youngs"). Each MC expresses his talent and thoughts in very diverse ways showing who they are as a person... and as legend tells us no two persons are the same
However.... there are some MC's who have proven to have mastered their art and show the Hip Hop world who they are with raw talent and ability My top five MC's are:

Geologic : Blue Scholars
Blu : Blu and Exile
Little Brother
Mos Def
Mr. M Medieros
....
there's just so many

The shirt is coming along nicely.
We hope to have it printed and available by spirit week.
We also might be able to get a printed MPC poster for Coach Adams room.
We'll see what happens on that one, so far its a might.

Lorenzo.

Relax. To the Max.

Stratus, by Uyama Hiroto.  Relaxing music.  Kinda.  There are no lyrics, but good music doesn't always have to have lyrics (I might be very wrong but that's just my opinion).

Here are some songs with words. Uyama Hiroto.

Break_dancing

Break_dancing is yet another form of expression in both Hip-Hop and the dance world. It's origins can be traced back all the way to African tribal dances. It first showed up in America in New York City in the 1960's. Africa Bambaataa founded The Kings. The Kings were the first crew, who were part of a bigger group who held graffiti artists and MC's, called Zulu Nation. Discrepancies were solved through dance battles instead of violence. Break dancing was at its height when the Rock Steady Crew was breaking in the subways of NYC. Now break_dancing is world wide. There is an annual world wide battle called the Battle of the Year, that takes place in Germany. Crews from 18 nations battle it out to see who the best crew in the world is. The documentary "Planet B-Boy" documents one year of the battle and what the crews go through to get there. If interested look it up, its a good movie. Here is a video of the best moments in the history of this event.

Expansion- the Zeek Theory

The concept of fraternities and elite clubs allows some people in society to socialize in a way that allows them connections, jobs, support and a sense of acceptance. Why can we not do the same thing with Modern Poets and Composers? We can expand the MPC club outside of Loyola as a Hip Hop fraternity that gives those who have a potential life or career in Hip hop. The exclusive-ness is a motive for the people who really "love" hip hop to boost their game and show what they have amongst a peer group of similar talent. In the future the club can sponsor shows, give loans, and travel across America allowing those youth to become who they want to be with their own talent. The club filters out the regular hip hop listener or fan from the hip hop head who sees it as a form of liveliness and career.

Talk to Wise Man for ideas or critiques.
This is currently under consideration by the executive board.
Feedback will be given as soon as a decision on this concept has been made.
Peace.
