One of my favorite MC's is Common Sense aka Common. Originating from Chi-town, he brought a unique flavor to the lyrical game, from the way he wrote his lyrics to the way he spit it. I have followed him and his career, and own all his albums either physically or digitally and have noticed over the years a big change in his style. Lyrically his content just seems to keep dropping lower. The biggest drop is on a new song "Universal Mind Control" where he doesnt really talk about anything meaningful. Dont get me wrong the beat is banging, its just I'm not used to this style from him and honestly I prefer his old style, I mean he's freakin DANCING in the new video. Come on now.

yea, I don't know what to say man. Common's style is changing and there's no going back. People said Electric Circus was terrible, but it actually turned out to be a good, so I don't know.
