"Akira loves rap music, and owns a record shop in the U.S. One day, he falls in love with an African American girl who starts to work at his shop. Soon racial and cultural differences, stereotypes from friends and family start to interrupt their relationship. Will their love break through all these obstacles?"
An interesting take on interracial relationships...director balances the two cultures differences and oppositions quite well, while at the same time blending the relationship with hip hop, but not over doing it. Shot in LA by director Joe Doughrity, who worked as the assistant of John Singleton on the set of "Boyz N The Hood." If you're an LA native, you'll immediately notice downtown and the 10 freeway exits at the beginning...take a look.
